A fifth steel monolith shaped like a giant toblerone has been spotted on a Welsh hill.
Residents of Hay-on-Wye were taken aback when they stumbled upon a ten-foot-tall block of steel, bearing a striking resemblance to a popular chocolate bar, on Hay Bluff near the Powys town over the weekend.
this sighting adds to a series of similar reports across the UK, with several monoliths spotted in 2020. these included sightings at Compton Beach on the Isle of Wight and the Merry Maidens stone circle in Cornwall, drawing the attention of numerous tiktokers and Instagram users.
these previous findings have prompted speculation on social media that the structures could be the work of aliens.
However, others have quashed those rumours, instead suggesting the monolith is simply an elaborate piece of undercover artwork.
