Today I’ll be sharing ten different new year’s eve naile ideas – I have five designs with the ɴuᴅᴇ base and five with the black base so even if you’re not into dark nail polishes you can still sport the classic black and gold new year’s eve colors!

I’m going to stick to the same black gold and glitter polishes for all designs so you could either pick one of these designs and do it on all 10 nails or you could pick a few and do a fun mix and match for these designs.

I used Essie sugar daddy which is a sheer ɴuᴅᴇ polish for the five designs with a ɴuᴅᴇ base salon perfect oil slick which is my favorite one coat black polish. Then I’m going to create some large dots by my free edge some medium dots just above that and then some smaller dots closer to my cuticle.

I just started doing my own nails, using gel and an LED lamp and am so excited I can do this myself instead of paying $100 every two to three weeks for a salon to do it for me. So even if you’re still learning the steps: bond, foundation, polish twice, top coat. I don’t know with all these designs what you are using, and at what step I would do this.

When you use a matte top coat then add glitter polish for nail art, do you add matte top coat again to seal that in or leave it be? Because I see you do that when it’s a normal shiny top coat

I am only 10 mins in to the video and it’s super inspiring. I love the colors you used! These are great ideas to cover up a smudged nail too. I am not a professional, actually more of a beginner than anything and I found the designs to be easy to do. Like anything, there is a learning curve to getting them perfect. Practice and patience will come in handy.

This is 29 minutes of relaxation and fun! Great video girl! Really dig the music selection and these designs are so beautiful! Can’t wait to try some of them out, especially since using nail tape isn’t my forte so this motivates me to keep at it. (I watched your do’s and don’ts videos on using the tape, super helpful!)

I love all of these designs by the way. So it seems that I either don’t let the polish dry enough or I let it dry too long I don’t know what the problem is but I’m constantly doing my nails and practicing and still learning. Anytime I try to do a design it seems to just smudge all over… it doesn’t help that I truly never have time to really let my nails dry correctly so all of my gel polish always mess up.
