Charlotte, North Carolina – On the evening of May 27, 2025, a local resident captured footage of a mysterious object falling from the sky — and experts still have no explanation.
The video, now widely shared online, shows a glowing, cylindrical object descending rapidly but silently toward the horizon. It emitted no smoke trail, no sonic boom, and left no detectable debris.
Witnesses in several neighborhoods reported seeing a “slow-falling fire” or “orb with flickering light,” but local authorities and aerospace agencies have yet to identify the object.
“It didn’t move like a meteor or aircraft,” said Jeremy Collins, who filmed the incident from his backyard. “It almost looked controlled… like it meant to fall.”
