After the multiversal events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Venom: The Last Dance, Eddie Brock and Venom are hiding off the grid, aware that they’ve attracted the attention of dangerous forces beyond Earth. But peace is short-lived when a symbiotic anomaly crashes into the ocean — an ancient signal awakening something buried deep in space… and deep in Venom’s DNA.
That something is Knull, the primordial God of the Symbiotes, awakened from a cosmic prison. Older than the universe itself and fueled by a hatred for light and life, Knull begins his descent toward Earth, sending tendrils of living abyss to infect the planet and reclaim his children — including Venom. Eddie and Venom, now deeply bonded, face a terrifying realization: Venom was never just a renegade — he was a piece of Knull’s hive mind, and Knull wants him back.
Meanwhile, Detective Mulligan, now bonded with Toxin, tries to stop a symbiote outbreak spreading across cities, corrupting humans into Knull’s army. To survive, Eddie must join forces with old enemies and new allies — including Toxin, a reluctant S.W.O.R.D. agent, and even a mysterious red-and-blue streak from another universe (hinting at Spider-Man). But defeating Knull will require more than brute strength. It will require Venom to sever his divine connection — possibly killing them both.
