More than a decade after The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 apparently closed the book on Edward and Bella’s love story, speculation is about a new installment of the franchise: The Twilight Sagan 6: The New Chapter. While neither Lionsgate nor author Stephenie Meyer have made an official statement, industry experts suggest that initial talks have taken place, and Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are rumored to be involved in some way.
With Bella Swan’s transformation into a vampire and the Vulturi threat neutralized, many fans ᴀssumed the saga had reached its natural conclusion. However, possible leaks suggest that The New Chapter could explore what happens decades later as Renesmee (played by Mackenzie Foy in Breaking Dawn) becomes more independent and faces new dangers that could threaten the fragile peace between vampires, werewolves and humans.
Another theory suggests that the film could take a darker and more mature approach, perhaps showing Bella and Edward grappling with the consequences of immortality or an entirely new threat emerging from the shadows of the supernatural world.
