Draymond Green was seen dragging Miami Heat guard Patty Mills down by the neck in both teams’ matchup on Tuesday, just three months after the Warriors star’s return from an indefinite ban for hitting Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

The incident went down in the first quarter of Golden State’s road game in Miami, as Green got tied up with Mills while trying to move in the paint to try to defend a sH๏τ from Heat center Bam Adebayo. 

One of the game’s two referees immediately blew his whistle afterward, and the foul was reviewed to see if it was deemed eligibly to be called as a flagrant. 

Green wasn’t too happy about the whole matter as he went up to the refs to plead his case before they went over to the review screens. 

In the end, the 34-year-old, four-time NBA champ’ was let off the hook, as the game’s officials stuck with their common foul call.

Miami’s broadcasting crew, however, were baffled over the no-flagrant-call on Green, calling the foul a ‘dangerous play.’

Green, who who has already been punished and fined twice this season for his in-game aggressions, missed 12 games for punching Nurkic in a Warriors-Suns game on December 12. 

The player, who claimed that he considered retiring from basketball during his ban, vowed to improve himself on the court in his first press conference since returning from his lengthy suspension.

Some fans remain skeptical over Green’s claims, as his antic on Tuesday didn’t help his case one bit.
