BREAKING NEWSGreen Bay Packers hand out stunning new $92m contract to key man ahead of 2025 NFL season

Packers offensive tackle Zach Tom has been rewarded with a mᴀssive contract following a strong couple of seasons for Green Bay.

Tom, 26, has started all 34 regular season games in the last two years and established himself as a key part of the Packers’ offensive line.

And the team has now handed him a four-year, $88million contract worth up to $92million in incentives, according to insider Jordan Schultz.

Schultz added on X that it was a ‘priority’ for the Packers to get the deal with Tom done.

Tom, a fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, is set to make $3.4million this year in the last season of his rookie contract.

He impressed last year for a Packers team which went 11-6 and reached the postseason, as Pro Football Focus graded him as the fourth-best tackle out of 140 players.

The Packers made the playoffs for the third time in four seasons last year but failed to get past the wild card round as they fell to the eventual champion Eagles.

Earlier on Monday, Schultz also reported that Green Bay was signing former Colorado wide receiver Will Sheppard.

Sheppard went undrafted in this year’s NFL Draft after wrapping up a five-year college career in Boulder in which he tallied 621 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

Sheppard, who played four years prior at Vanderbilt, hauled in a total of 27 touchdowns during his college career.

And the Packers may yet get more business done this summer as linebacker Quay Walker and offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins are also in line for new contracts.

The Packers begin training camp on Wednesday and will host the Lions in Week 1 on September 7.
