Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins has been arrested in Florida over battery charges, according to reports.
Judkins, who was a second round pick in April’s NFL Draft, was detained by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office on battery and domestic violence charges, The Athletic’s Zac Jackson reported on Saturday.
The former college football star is believed to remain in custody. It is currently unclear if bail has been set.
Judkins, a former star at Ohio State and Mississippi, was selected by the Browns with the 36th overall pick in April.
However, the running back remains one of 30 unsigned second-round picks from this year’s draft.
Although Judkins has yet to put pen to paper on his deal with Cleveland, he is still susceptible to the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy, which could see him face discipline from the league.

He remains the only member of the Browns’s draft class yet to sign a contract with the likes of Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel inking their own deals weeks ago.
Cleveland’s rookies are slated to report for preseason on July 18. However, it’s currently unclear if Judkins will be present given both his contract situation and his fresh legal woes.
