Aaron Rodgers’ frustration was palpable Tuesday when he exploded into a furious rant over his right to a private life amid rampant rumors shrouding his new marriage.
The NFL veteran, 41, dropped a shock marriage bombshell during his first official Steelers training earlier this month when he confirmed to reporters that he had tied the knot ‘a couple of months ago.’
However, the idenтιтy of the four-time MVP’s new wife has remained a mystery in the weeks since, sparking conspiracy theories on the internet that his marriage could be a hoax. Even his family was said to be question whether the wedding took place.
But Rodgers ripped into the rumors Tuesday when he took aim at the rampant speculation in a furious four-minute-long tirade on the Pat McAfee Show.
‘It’s a sick society, isn’t it? I lived in the public eye for 20 years, I had public relationships,’ he began referring to his past high-profile romances with the likes of actress Shailene Woodley and NASCAR star Danica Patrick.
‘How did that work out? I had peple leaking my home information, and making up stories, I had people calling the paparazzi, I had people posting my personal life on the internet. I didn’t want that, didn’t like any of that.

Rodgers’ last relationship was with actress Shailene Woodley, with the pair splitting in 2022
‘Now I’m with someone who’s private who doesn’t want to be in the public eye, didn’t sign up to be in the public eye, doesn’t want to be a celebrity. And because I do things in private because I want my personal life to be private, I’m now weird and have the paparazzi stalking me.’
Rodgers previously divulged to McAfee in December that he was in a relationship with a woman named ‘Brittani’, and that she did not have any social media. However, on Tuesday he refused to leak any more details, never even referring to his wife by a name.
During Tuesday’s rant, Rodgers went on to question: ‘What happened to common decency about security and a personal life?
‘Now we have to dive into details of where you live, what you’re doing and who you’re with, who your wife is and if you even have a wife, and if you’re doing so sort of attention-grabbing thing – because my wife is a private person, doesn’t have social media.
‘Where are we at in society that that’s the norm? Just because I’m not selling wedding to the magazines or making a loving post on Instagram.’
The former Super Bowl winner also insisted that his family members wouldn’t know any details about his private life or his new bride as claimed ‘they don’t know anything about them’ because he doesn’t talk to them.
Rodgers’ feud with his younger brother Jordan has been well-documented for years now after the latter went on and won season 12 of The Bachelorette, marrying that year’s star JoJo Fletcher.
Fans had spotted a black band on the veteran’s ring finger when he signed with the Steelers

Tensions were raised when Jordan (center) brought JoJo home in their season of The Bachelorette to meet his father Ed (left) and oldest brother Luke (right), but not Aaron
First indications of a feud between Aaron and his family surfaced during The Bachelorette in 2016, when Jordan introduced JoJo to his eldest brother, Luke, and his parents.
‘My private life is my private life and it’s going to stay that way, and I’m with somebody who wants to be private, and if and when she wants to be out and there’s a picture, she’ll choose that,’ the new Steelers quarterback continued.
‘The enтιтlement to information about my private life is so f***ing ridiculous and embarrᴀssing,’ he added.
The signal caller signed a one-year, $13.65million deal with the Steelers earlier this month after yet another offseason of speculation over his NFL future.
But he also admitted Tuesday, that the upcoming NFL season is probably his last before he hangs his cleats up for good, saying, ‘I’m pretty sure this is it.’
And Rodgers suggested that beyond the end of the 2025 NFL season not only will fans no longer see him on the field, they won’t see him at all as he vowed to keep his private life just that – private.
‘When this is all done, I’m out. You won’t see me. And I know that I’ve chosen to be in the public eye for one more season, but my private life is staying private,’ he insisted.
Rodgers’ last public relationship was with Woodley, with the pair going their separate ways in 2022 after two years together. The actress is believed to have moved on with ‘Emily In Paris’ star Lucas Bravo.
He previously dated some other high-profile figures, including ex-racing driver Danica Patrick

Prior to his romance with Woodley he dated some high-profile figures in former racing car driver Danica Patrick and another actress in Olivia Munn.
Patrick previously sensationally claimed that their relationship was ’emotionally abusive’ and ‘wore me down to nothing’.
The former NASCAR driver and Rodgers started dating in January 2018 and made their red-carpet debut at that year’s ESPY awards.
At the end of 2019 they bought a home together in Malibu and spent the first few months of 2020 living together in the trendy California beach town.
However, their relationship didn’t last much longer as they split in July 2020 after just over two years together.
