A night security guard has claimed to have spotted a ufo after capturing footage of a strange green light rising into the sky.
The footage shows a bright, unspecified object slowly rise into the night sky before momentarily pausing mid air and then speeding away into the dark
He said: ‘I was sitting there and everything just felt weird all of a sudden, I can’t really explain.

‘Then out the corner of my eye I saw something on the monitor, so I played it back and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I kept watching it over and over again.’

He immediately texted it to his eldest son Skyler, who replied: ‘WTF IS THAT?’
Benefield says his life was so busy at the time that he didn’t think to show the footage to anyone else.
But he recently found the video again and decided it was something that needed to be shared with the public.
‘I cannot explain what is going on in that video but it’s extremely strange. I’ve watched it so many times and it still gives me chills,’ he said.
It is possible the lights are the reflection of a car’s headlights, traffic lights or lights from a building in the distance.
