Aaron Rodgers claims to have a new bride, but outside of a black wedding band on the third finger of his left hand, proof of his supposed nuptials is noticeably absent.

The new Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback told reporters after one of his first sessions with the team that he got married ‘a few months ago’ following weeks of speculation after he’d been spotted with the ring on his finger.

His shock revelation came six months after he announced live on The Pat McAfee show that he had found love again with someone named ‘Brittani’, albeit without providing any more details.

And after the marriage bombshell, multiple sources told DailyMail.com that Rodgers’ family are beginning to question if the man the Steelers are banking on to helm them to their first Super Bowl in over a decade is actually someone’s husband. 

As of today, public records show no trace of a legal marriage.

Who is Aaron Rodgers’ fiancee?

At the time of writing, Rodgers’ new partner is known only as ‘Brittani’.

The four-time MVP revealed during his weekly appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show in December that he had ordered Christmas presents for his mysterious girlfriend.

‘I was a little bit worried because there was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn’t showed up yet, so I’d been waiting on this to show up,’ he said on the daily sports talk show. ‘It showed up today so everything is great now.’ 

After laughing off a joke from a member of the crew that he’s dating Britney Spears , Rodgers confirmed that his girlfriend’s name is the version spelt with an ‘i’.

He revealed that his new love interest is not on any social-media channels after joking that she probably doesn’t watch McAfee’s show despite being a fan of the ESPN host.

 

What has he said about it?

After he reported for his first day of practice as a Steeler earlier this month, Rodgers claimed that Pittsburgh isn’t the only new addition to his life.

The NFL veteran revealed that he has a new wife as well as a new team, telling members of the media that he tied the knot ‘a couple of months’ ago.

When questioned about the glaring band circling his finger, Rodgers admitted, ‘Yes, it’s a wedding ring.’

He had first sparked rumors last month when he was spotted at the Kentucky Derby with a band on his ring finger.

 

What do his family think?

The news of Rodgers’ marriage caught several members of his family and friends off guard, and this week multiple sources told DailyMail.com that they are beginning to question if it genuinely happened.

A clerk in the Pennsylvania county where he was rumored to have moved to also told DailyMail.com this week that no such marriage involving the football star has been registered.

County officials in Las Vegas, a common venue for quick celebrity weddings, also confirmed that there is no record of an Aaron Rodgers getting married there this year. 

What’s more, not even his closest relatives seem to know anything about the mysterious woman he now calls his wife, known only as ‘Brittani’, though given his well-documented fractured relationship with his family, that may not be too surprising.

Rodgers has been embroiled in a longtime feud with his younger brother Jordan, the winner of The Bachelorette in 2016, which dates back to his appearance on the reality show.

One insider said: ‘Jordan and JoJo didn’t go to the wedding and don’t even know anything really about Brittani. What they’ve heard is secondhand from his parents.

‘They are still angry that Aaron didn’t go to their wedding. He didn’t want to be with his brother on the biggest day of his life, so why should they twist themselves up over this wedding?

But now insiders say the family is unconvinced the marriage is real – and suspect Rodgers may have had a symbolic ‘commitment ceremony’ instead of a legally binding wedding. 

 

Who did Rodgers date before ‘Brittani’?

Rodgers’ most recent love interest was former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, with the pair spending close to two years together before splitting in 2020.

Last month Patrick sensationally claimed the relationship was ’emotionally abusive’ and ‘wore me down to nothing’.

The ex-racer, who has become a staunch supporter of Donald Trump in recent years, opened up on her romance with the NFL quarterback to ex-ESPN broadcaster Sage Steele.

When asked to name the most painful experience of her life, Patrick said: ‘The breakup with Aaron in 2020, because it was sudden. It felt like it was my life.

After their split, Rodgers enjoyed short-lived flings with ex-fiancee Shailene Woodley and Mallory Edens.

The Super Bowl winner even got engaged to Hollywood actress Woodley, who recently told People about their 2022 split: ‘I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy. I really understood depression and anxiety and, like, complete soul detachment.’

Rodgers also dated another American actress in Olivia Munn from 2014 to 2017.
