Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes debuted a bold new look at the team’s minicamp this week, most notably without his signature mohawk. 

Mahomes hair has an become iconic part of his idenтιтy and was cut off to make a regular crew cut. 

Chiefs fans immediately realized the difference, as they have not known a Mahomes without his unique haircut.   

Mahomes has not commented on his new hairdo, wearing a hat to Wednesday’s press availability. 

The quarterback is not the only member of the Chiefs’ with a significant change, as close friend and тιԍнт end Travis Kelce showed up to Missouri looking noticeably slimmer.

‘My goat can do no wrong,’ one Chiefs fan said. 

‘He got tired of buddy from Nebraska trying to be him so he changed the cut,’ a second Kansas City supporter stated, comparing him to Dylan Raiola. 

‘My glorious QB is aging backwards,’ a third added. 

‘I’m glad he got the cut lol. Now he look like us,’ a fourth concluded. 

Mahomes has one of the worst games of his professional career in last year’s Super Bowl, helping the Eagles build a 34-0 lead into the third quarter, before throwing three touchdown pᴀsses. 

The new haircut could be a way of starting a new era, as the Chiefs look to get back to their winning ways.
