The shocking revelation of quarterback Aaron Rodgers’s marriage has come as a surprise to NFL fans across the country. The private ceremony took place out of view of cameras and, apparently, his own family.
Aaron has been embroiled in a well-documented family feud with his younger brother, Jordan Rodgers, for a number of years now.
That rift has now appeared to extend to absences from Aaron’s wedding to mysterious bride ‘Brittani’.
And sources have exclusively told the Daily Mail why Jordan – winner of Season 12 of The Bachelorette and himself married to that year’s star, JoJo Fletcher – was not present at his brother’s celebration.
‘Jordan and JoJo didn’t go to the wedding and don’t even know anything really about Brittani,’ the source claims. ‘What they’ve heard is secondhand from his parents.
‘They are still angry that Aaron didn’t go to their wedding. He didn’t want to be with his brother on the biggest day of his life, so why should they twist themselves up over this wedding?’
The news of Aaron Rodgers’ wedding came as a complete shock to NFL fans across the nation
In his first practice as a Steelers player, Aaron Rogers was seen wearing a black band – which he confirmed as a wedding ring, telling media that he tied the knot with a woman named Brittani
However, Aaron’s brother Jordan Rodgers and his wife, JoJo Fletcher, did not attend the wedding
The source also revealed, JoJo ‘hardly knows’ Aaron.
‘Secondhand, they hear that she’s willing to stay private and that she’s not with him for his fame or money. But they know nothing about her.
‘This is not a close family unit at all. Right now, JoJo and Jordan are getting the news about the marriage from the internet.’
First indications of a feud between Aaron and his family surfaced during The Bachelorette in 2016, when Jordan introduced JoJo to his eldest brother, Luke, and his parents.
In that episode Luke remarked: ‘It pains both of us, like, not to have that relationship [with Aaron] – we miss our brother.’
When JoJo and Jordan eventually got married, they extended an invite to Aaron for the ceremony.
However, Aaron did not attend. In fact, Aaron publicly spoke about his personal aversion to Jordan appearing on the show.
Back when it was airing in 2016, the then-Green Bay Packers quarterback said, ‘I haven’t seen the show to be honest with you, so it hasn’t really affected me a whole lot.’
Sources told the Daily Mail neither Jordan or JoJo have met Brittani
Tensions were raised when Jordan (center) brought JoJo home in their season of The Bachelorette to meet his father Ed (left) and oldest brother Luke (right), but not Aaron
It was also revealed that JoJo (pictured) still feels like she ‘hardly knows’ her brother-in-law, Aaron

Aaron also revealed he found it ‘a little inappropriate [for Jordan] to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just… I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the compeтιтion.’
Adding to that, in Ian O’Conner’s biography of the athlete тιтled Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers, Aaron’s former junior college coach recalled a time where the Super Bowl champion was agitated while playing in a celebrity golf tournament after someone referred to him as ‘Jordan Rodgers’ brother’ – it was around the time of the show’s release.
Aaron addressed Jordan’s appearance on the show again in a Netflix series тιтled Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, where he once again blasted the decision to bring up their familial struggles.
‘It wasn’t like I was super duper close with everybody in the family,’ said the Chico, California native. ‘But in actuality, it goes back to stuff from high school that kind of made me feel distant. Stuff in college, stuff post-college.’
Aaron said that seeing Jordan and other relatives appear on the reality TV romance rubbed him the wrong way.
‘What do they do? They go on a bulls*** show and leave two empty chairs,’ Aaron said of how he was depicted. ‘They all agreed this was a good thing to do, to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating show that my brother just went on to get famous – his words, not mine – that he ended up winning.
‘But a dinner that was during the season, I was never asked to go to. Not that I would’ve gone.’
Aaron commented on his rift with Jordan during an August 2022 appearance on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast, saying that he believes ‘in healing’ and ‘the possibility of reconciliation at some point.
The sources say JoJo and Jordan skipped Aaron’s wedding because Aaron didn’t attend their wedding in May 2022

‘Many people have issues with family and deal with them in their own ways,’ the NFL staple said.
He added, ‘For me, I’ve always tried to deal with it quietly behind closed doors.
‘That hasn’t always been the case or hasn’t been good enough for a lot of people who want to write about it, or pick it apart, or talk about it, or even some things that my family has said or done over the years that’s been public.’
Aaron said he’s never been comfortable engaging publicly in discussion about his family dynamics.
‘To judge on the outside about what should be, or what it should look like, or who’s wrong and who’s right, it’s just a game I’ve never wanted to play and still don’t want to play,’ he said.
While Aaron has reconciled with his father, it appears by this account that any attempts at repairing his relationship with Jordan are still a ways away.
