Alien hunters and conspiracy theorists have come up with a lot of interesting ideas from watching footage of space – suggesting there could be a crucifix on Mars or giant pillars on the moon.
A video has emerged showing pictures taken from Nasa’s live feed of the International Space Station, as conspiracy theorists claim it shows an ‘interesting UFO or missile’ being released from the ISS. ScreensH๏τ from video pictured showing the object leaving the ISS
‘Nonetheless some UFOlogists will note that there is no smoke without fire and that Nasa continues to cover-up the UFO incidents surrounding the ISS.’
If the ‘object’ was some sort of weapon heading for Earth, as some keen conspiracy theorists suggest, it is likely it would have struck soon after.
The ISS orbits about 250 miles (400km) from the surface of the Earth, about the same distance as between London and York. If a secret weapon was being released and filmed on the public live stream, it would only have taken a matter of hours to reach Earth

It took astronaut Tim Peake six hours to reach the station from Earth, including the time it took to dock.
It is also unlikely the space station’s camera would have been pointed a the ‘secret’ weapon during that part of the live feed, which can include videos from several different cameras.
At the start of May, Nasa released a series of 17 CubeSats from the ISS (pictured). Nasa was using the latest batch of the tiny satellites to observe the Earth, improve commercial ship tracking and provide weather data on the Earth’s seas
