Controversial ex-NFL star posts sarcastic reaction to old team's Pride message in latest bizarre outburst

Controversial ex-NFL pᴀss rusher Jason Babin offered a sarcastic response on Sunday to a Pride Month post from the Houston Texans.

Babin, a two-time Pro Bowler in his career, began his career in Houston after they selected him No. 27 overall in the 2004 NFL Draft.

And he sH๏τ back at his old team’s post on X after the team wished fans a happy Pride Month on the first day of June.

In response to the Texans’ post, which included a pH๏τo in front of a rainbow backdrop, Babin wrote: ‘I think any Texan knows that football and pride month is synonymous.

‘Hopefully they have special addition jerseys,’ he added, spelling ‘edition’ wrong.

It’s not the first time that Babin, whose 12-year career came to an end in 2015, has waded into some curious territory on social media of late.

The former outside linebacker and defensive end, previously described by the Philadelphia Inquirer as a ‘hell-raiser on and off the field’, bounced around franchises and finished his career having played for nine different teams.

He was actually cut by Philly a season after the best year of his career, an 18-sack season in 2011.

After being picked up by the Jaguars in the middle of the 2012 season, Babin told the Jacksonville reporters that media in Philly had ‘stinky breath’, criticized them for wearing shorts.

Babin ultimately suited up for the Texans, Seahawks, Chiefs, Eagles, тιтans, Jaguars, Jets, Cardinals and Ravens in his career.

His stints in New York, Tennessee, Kansas City, Baltimore and Arizona were short-lived, as he ultimately spent just one season or parts of one season there.
