Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s wedding is near — as Bills teammate may have let exact date slip

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld’s wedding is getting closer.

The couple is set to tie the knot over one of the next two weekends, a person familiar with their wedding told The ᴀssociated Press on the condition of anonymity because the date is private.

The report did not disclose a location for Allen and Steinfeld’s wedding.

During a March appearance on “Good Morning Football,” Bills tackle Dion Dawkins said the 2024 NFL MVP and the “Sinners” actress are scheduled to get married on May 31.

However, Dawkins played coy about the topic when asked if he’s attending the quarterback’s wedding.

“I have no idea what is going on,” Dawkins quipped during an appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show” on Friday. “We’re all here in Buffalo working out [at OTAs] so I’ll give those guys a FaceTime call and see how everything is going but I have no idea… I’m in the fog.”

Dawkins joked that he didn’t know why he would get Allen a gift because he’s clueless about the wedding.

“I think one of the gifts we got Josh this season is that he’s been sacked the least amount of times during the season,” Dawkins said when Eisen asked if he got Allen something from his wedding registry. “I think that that’s one of the best gifts his parents will admire. I think Josh will admire it as well.

“That is my [wedding] gift to the world that Josh can walk down the aisle in one piece and be happy that he is walking down the aisle with all fingers and all toes.”

Steinfeld and Allen got engaged by the ocean in Malibu last November after roughly two years of dating.

Allen and Dawkins reported to the Bills’ organized team activities (OTAs) portion of the voluntary offseason workout program on Tuesday.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott laughed when a reporter attempted to get him to share the Allen and Steinfeld’s wedding date

“Good try on that,” McDermott said. “But he is as confident and as calm, cool and collected as he always is.”

The coach praised Allen for his leadership at OTAs amid his busy offseason.

“I think it says everything, right?” McDermott said. “He is the face of our organization. He’s the leader of our team. Like any leader, in particular the leader of the team, those words that he says and his actions are exponentially impactful, to the whole roster, the whole team.”

Allen has been busy since Buffalo’s season ended on Jan. 26 with a 32-29 loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium.

He supported the actress on her press tour for “Sinners” — and she joined him at the NFL Honors show in February when he was named the 2024 NFL MVP after he led Buffalo to a fifth straight AFC East тιтle.

Allen threw for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns and had six picks for a 101.4 pᴀsser rating.

He also ran for 531 yards and 12 scores.

He is entering his eighth season with Buffalo after the team selected him with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2018 draft.
