Furthermore, the Hall of Famer shared that he had a memorable performance on the court when he first painted his nails and has done it ever since.

‘True story. One time, I had a toenail that was torn off. And I wasn’t going to play in the game. My mom was like, ‘Baby, why you not playing in the game?’ I was like, ‘I torn my toenail off’.

‘So she did something and she put some red polish on the thing. And I had 40 [points] that game. So I was like, ‘You know what? I’m just gonna start painting my toenails.”

The seven-footer went on to have a legendary NBA career, winning three тιтles with the Los Angeles Lakers and another with the Miami Heat. He also served the Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics with his dominant presence before retiring in 2011.
