Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s top-secret wedding is happening in just three days’ time, according to a loose-lipped comment from one of his Buffalo Bills teammates.
The highly-anticipated ‘wedding of the year’ has been a closely-guarded affair, with very few details having been revealed to the public.
But while Allen and Steinfeld themselves have neglected to share any specifics, Bills star Dion Dawkins did previously reveal the date in an on-air TV slip-up.
Speaking on Good Morning Football back in March, Dawkins was asked about the wedding and immediately began to share more details than perhaps the bride and groom would have liked.
‘Josh Allen is one of those guys and he sealed that deal,’ Dawkins told presenter Kyle Brandt, before adding: ‘Soon to come, May 31st.’
The presenter – who is good friends with Allen himself – then looked back in shock at the announcement of the date.

In the weeks since, no further information has been shared by any parties, but it appears the date is fast approaching… and the couple are set to tie the knot this very weekend.
Allen was spotted back at practice with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday, with pH๏τographers catching him chatting with NBA icon Vince Carter – who is a new minority owner of the team.
In fact, there was no sign of jitters from the NFL MVP, who danced in the huddle with his teammates, barked out plays, and then joined the celebrations in the end zone after he’s thrown a perfect pᴀss to Curtis Samuel.
Dawkins, meanwhile, has since stayed extremely тιԍнт-lipped about the wedding, recently telling Rich Eisen ‘I ain’t know anything about that’ when probed for more details.
Bills coach Sean McDermott spoke on Tuesday and acknowledged how important Allen’s presence was at practice in light of his busy offseason schedule.
‘I think it says everything, right? He is the face of our organization. He’s the leader of our team,’ McDermott said. ‘Like any leader, in particular the leader of the team, those words that he says and his actions are exponentially impactful, to the whole roster, the whole team.’

Allen was fully focused, despite being just a few days out from his top-secret wedding
As for Allen showing any pre-wedding nerves, McDermott laughed at the attempt to have him disclose the wedding date.
‘Good try on that,’ he said, before adding: ‘But he is as confident and as calm, cool and collected as he always is.’
There has been no information revealed on the location of the wedding, though it is expected that it will be in the upstate New York area, where the pair currently live, given Allen’s schedule and recent return to practice.
Allen, who turned 29 last week, and the 28-year-old Steinfeld were engaged during the Bills bye week in November, when the quarterback proposed on a California cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The two were first linked in the spring of 2023, when they were pH๏τographed dining together in New York City. Steinfeld has since begun attending Bills home games, and the couple hosted a Halloween party.
The couple was inseparable at the NFL Awards ceremony in February, when Allen credited Steinfeld upon accepting the league’s MVP honor.

Allen has spoken highly of the settling influence provided by Steinfeld, referring to her as his biggest fan.
She began her acting career at the age of 10, and earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for her role as Mattie Ross in the Coen brothers’ 2010 remake of ‘True Grit.’
Other roles have included the 2016 high school dramedy ‘The Edge of Seventeen,’ and ‘Dickinson.’ She branched out into pop music after performing in the 2015 movie ‘Pitch Perfect 2.’
Allen is entering his eighth NFL season. In March, he signed a contract extension worth $330 million, including an NFL record $250 million of it guaranteed, making him among the league’s highest-paid players.
