Steph Curry gifted Khabib Nurmagomedov with a signed jersey when they met on Friday night in Toronto.

The former UFC lightweight champion sat courtside at Scotiabank Arena as Curry and the Golden State Warriors secured a 120-105 win over the Raptors. During the game, The Eagle marveled at seeing Curry in action.

‘It’s different experience to watch live one of the best NBA player in the world,’ Nurmagomedov captioned a pH๏τo he took of Curry on X. ‘Thanks Toronto Raptors for invitation.’

Postgame, the pair met courtside and engaged in a short conversation after the initial handshake. Curry then handed his signed, game-worn jersey to Nurmagomedov before they posed for a pH๏τo.

‘To Khabib, all love champ,’ Curry wrote and signed the top.

Curry tallied 25 points, six rebounds and six ᴀssists to lead Golden State to a 120-105 victory

Nurmagomedov praised Curry during the game, labelling him ‘one of the best’ NBA players 

Nurmagomedov posted pictures and a video of their meeting on his social media, writing, ‘With legendary @stephencurry in Toronto.’

Nurmagomedov saw Curry lead the Warriors with 25 points, making seven attempts from three-point territory. He also tallied six rebounds and six ᴀssists in the win.

Although Golden State had a rough start this season, they recently hit a stride to win 11 of their last 13 games.

The Warriors will look to extend their win streak to four games as their East Coast road trip heads to Boston on Sunday. They currently sit ninth in the Western Conference with a 32-17 record.

Nurmagomedov vacated his UFC lightweight тιтle when he retired in 2020 with a perfect 29-0 record. The end of his career boasted consecutive finishes over top contenders Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje.

He has since served as a coach to current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and ran his MMA promotion, Eagle FC.
