The New York Knicks stars headed to the exclusive Chez Margaux bar in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District on Friday night to celebrate their historic playoff win over Boston Celtics.
Timothee Chalamet and New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson joined the party but according to Page Six, the Knicks stars made sure it wasn’t the wildest night in the city that never sleeps.
Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and the team reportedly turned down repeated offers of free bottles of champagne from their fellow partiers at the exclusive, members-only bar with their work far from done in the NBA postseason.
For the first time since 1999, the Knicks are contesting the Eastern Conference finals starting Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers. Game 1 is at Madison Square Garden.
The publication quoted a source as saying: ‘They are locked in and were just there to celebrate the win and weren’t drinking.
‘They shared the bottles with their fans instead. They’re very appreciative and thankful for their fans, for this city.’

Chalamet sat courtside for that game – he was also courtside in Boston on Wednesday night when the Celtics, competing without star man Jayson Tatum, showed signs of a series fightback with a 127-102 win.
Chalamet also took girlfriend Kylie Jenner to game 4 at MSG, the game where the Knicks won and Tatum tore his Achilles late in the fourth quarter.
After Game 6, footage of Chalamet celebrating widly with the thousands of fans flooding the streets around MSG went viral across social media.
Wilson, meanwhile, has also been along to cheer the Knicks in his first few months as the Giants QB.
The 36-year-old, a Super Bowl winner, signed a one-year deal that could be worth up to $21million in late March.

And it’s not just the Knicks who are giving Wilson his basketball thrills during the NFL offseason.
On Saturday, he headed to see New York Liberty in action, as the WNBA champions started 2025 with a 92-78 win over Las Vegas Aces.
You’d imagine that it’ll take something for Wilson and Chalamet to be kept away from the Garden on Wednesday night.
