Josh Hart was left with blood pouring down his face after suffering a brutal face injury in the early stages of the Knicks-Celtics Game 5 showdown in Boston.
The Knicks superstar was going for the basket when he was caught by a flailing elbow, immediately falling to the floor and clutching his face.
Within seconds, there was blood all over the court and medics rushed to the 30-year-old’s aid to try and stem the flow.
Stunned commentators on TNT even claimed ‘he might need a transfusion, he is gushing blood.’
A review then determined the contact was accidental and did not need to be upgraded to a flagrant foul on the Celtics.
