The Minnesota Vikings are putting their perfect international record to the test.

Dating back to 1983 (!), the club has never lost overseas. As of now, they’ve won four exhibition and four regular season matches on non-U.S. soil.

This year, Myles Garrett the Cleveland Browns will try and undo Minnesota’s 42-year unbeaten streak when they take the Vikings in week 5 of the NFL season at London’s Tottenham H๏τspur Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 5.

Their matchup will be the second straight overseas showdown for the Minnesota Vikings. The week before, J.J. McCarthy’s club is slated to do battle with the Pittsburgh Steelers at Dublin, Ireland’s Croke Park, the first-ever game in the country.

That’s not their only first, though. With the back-to-back contests in the books, Kevin O’Connell’s club becomes the first team in NFL history to play two consecutive games in two different countries in consecutive weeks.

“The two-game trip gives us an unbelievable opportunity to take our team on the road, get away from a lot of the day-to-day things that may be pulling players in any other direction. It feels almost like a training camp,” O’Connell said. “It feels almost like a trip to allow us to come together closer than ever, build our team camaraderie and culture even stronger, which has been such a strong ᴀsset to us over three years here.”

Last season, the Vikings finished the year with a sparkling 14-3 record but ended up getting trounced 27-9 in the Wild Card round of the playoffs against the resurgent Rams. Over the offseason, starting quarterback Sam Darnold bolted for the Seahawks; University of Michigan hero McCarthy fills his big shoes this year.

As for the Browns, the team went 3-14 in 2024 but have had a splashy offseason. They signed Maliek Collins and drafted Mason Graham as well as notable fifth-rounder Shedeur Sanders.

If you want to see the Midwestern clubs do battle across the pond, tickets are available for the Vikings-Browns at Tottenham H๏τspur Stadium as of today on Vivid Seats.
