The Bears, Commanders and Patriots are together at the top once again.
One year after those franchises held the top three picks in the NFL Draft — and drafted quarterbacks Caleb Williams (Bears), Jayden Daniels (Commanders) and Drake Maye (Patriots) with the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 picks, respectively — they are fighting for the label of Most Improved Team of the NFL offseason.
Coincidence? Probably not.
For one, having a quarterback on a cost-controlled rookie contract allows for big spending on other positions and thus often leads to the quick fix in free agency.
