NFL fans are having a field day on social media, laughing at Kenny Pickett’s tiny hands as he begins offseason workouts for the Cleveland Browns with a quarterback battle ahead.
Pickett is a former first-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers, given a sweetheart deal after playing his college ball at the University of Pittsburgh. He was shipped out of town to the Eagles to make way for Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, who have also since left the Steel City.
Now with his third team heading into his fourth NFL season, Pickett has an uphill battle for a roster spot, and for fans to overlook his hands.
The Cleveland Browns have five quarterbacks on their roster, with likely the best news for Pickett being the Achilles tendon injury to Deshaun Watson, which is expected to sideline him for all of 2025.
Flacco is getting a guaranteed spot on the roster based on his contract, with rookies Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel looking to make their name.
Pickett is the odd man out, with a possible practice-squad role on the table. Yet, fans have made it clear based on the pH๏τo posted by the Browns official account that Pickett’s tiny hands are what matter most.

One fan posted Pickett side-by-side with Hanson from ‘Scary Movie 2’, the character known for having one deformed, incredibly small hand.
‘Pickett when Flacco wins the QB compeтιтion,’ another fan stated with a picture of a small hand from the famed kid’s television show ‘Arthur’.
‘Bro look at Picketts hand over the laces compared to Flaccos. Dude’s hand is half his size lol,’ a third added.
‘Pickett and those gloves.. I just can’t take it seriously man. Flacco please,’ a fourth said.
One final fan posted a picture of comedian Zach Galafianakis in a ‘Funny or Die Presents’ skit in a wig, holding tiny hands.

Pickett’s skill as a quarterback has been on display before, regardless of his hand size. No one gets to be a first-round draft pick on accident.
With momentum in the Browns’ fan base wanting to see Sanders start after he slipped to the fifth round of last month’s NFL Draft despite being viewed going in as a top prospect, only the sublime from Pickett could subvert that.
The Browns have been arguably the worst NFL team of this century, rarely finding high-level success on the gridiron.
Yet, NFL fans have no problem kicking the team when they are down and finding anything to entertain themselves, like Pickett’s hands.
