The funeral cults of the Chachapoyas culture are not known, but something is sure, to bury their ᴅᴇᴀᴅs they looked for places protected of rain.

In relation to the burials they had two types: those that became in rows and the individual ones. In the case of the individual ones, they looked for inaccessible places, soon them towards pictorial impressions in the walls of cliffs, with tonalities blanquecinas, yellowish and reddish.

This characteristic is repeated in all the cases, for this reason it was easy to know where the ᴅᴇᴀᴅs were buried. The problem is that this characteristic was used by the huaqueros to locate the burials, this is the reason for great part of the tombs was sacked.
