Shedeur Sanders has arrived at the Browns’ rookie mini-camp as he looks to put his NFL Draft nightmare in the rearview mirror.

The former Colorado pᴀsser – once mooted to be a first-round pick – fell all the way to the way to the fifth round before Cleveland finally selected him with the No. 144 overall pick.

And following that disastrous weekend last month, Sanders looked to be in good spirits on Thursday as he arrived at the Browns’ facility.

Wearing a black Nike hoodie and lugging a bag on his shoulder, Sanders smiled as he made a low-key entrance into the building.

‘No loud chains. Coming to go to work!! Good to see!!,’ one fan reacted on X.

‘Business like entrance,’ another said.

The quarterback plummeted in the draft until he was ultimately picked by Cleveland

Amid his significant NFL Draft slide, Sanders’ approach to the NFL Draft process has been picked apart.

CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reported that the quarterback ‘more or less sandbagged’ interviews with teams where he didn’t want to land.

Another report from Albert Breer described how one meeting with the Giants – who did extensive work scouting him – went south.

As Breer detailed on 98.5 The Sports Hub, Sanders was left ‘p***ed’ after essentially failing an ᴀssignment.

‘The Giants one, they give the players an install, and there are mistakes intentionally put in the install,’ Breer said.

Sanders played at Colorado under his father, ex-NFL star Deion. They also teamed up at Jackson State beforehand.

‘He didn’t catch them and got called on it, and it didn’t go well after that… he was pissed that they did that to him.’

Sanders has his work cut out for him to make the Browns’ roster, let alone earning the starting job at some point.

Cleveland’s crowded quarterback room also includes veteran Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, the injured Deshaun Watson and another fellow rookie in Dillon Gabriel.

His fall in the draft even led one fan to sue the NFL for $100million over ’emotional distress and trauma.’

After the draft, Sanders said: ‘It’s time to take advantage of the opportunity,’ via an Overtime video.

‘Gotta go in there with a different mindset, and lead the program in whatever role I gotta be in until it’s my time.’
