Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb breaks his silence on shock George Pickens trade

Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has broken his silence on his team acquiring George Pickens with a social-media message from television show ‘The Simpsons’.

Pickens was brought to Dallas from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday morning alongside a sixth-round pick in next year’s draft. In return, the Steelers received a third-round selection and a fifth-round pick in 2027.

Lamb is the clear top receiver on the Cowboys and he is considered one of the best pᴀss-catchers in the league. Now, Pickens, who was the No 1 receiver on the Steelers, slots in beside him.

Lamb is taking to the news well, posting a message of Simpsons character Ralph Wiggum is waiving to the camera.

The Cowboys bring in the wideout hoping to contend in an NFC East that is getting better around them.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders were the two NFC teams to compete in the conference championship game last year, while the Giants have spent over $130million on its defense and retooled its quarterback room.

Pickens was the big fish in a seemingly smaller pond with Pittsburgh still not having a clear starter at quarterback this season.

The Steelers have Mason Rudolph and Will Howard on their roster, with Aaron Rodgers still existing in free agency.

Now, Pickens will have Prescott as a quarterback, who will be one of the better signal callers he has ever worked with.

The Cowboys are coming off a 7-10 season, missing the mark on a season that was thought to be their route back to playoff glory.

Now with new head coach Brian ScH๏τtenheimer, Dallas will again try to compete for a playoff spot, with much less room for comfort.
