Alien craft? Or just a pair of holes in a cloud?

A video showing a pair of mysterious holes in clouds over Southern California have been seized on by UFO campaigners as proof that aliens are watching the earth.

The footage, filmed on Monday, shows the two unusually-shaped discs – and conspiracy theorists say they show the alien craft ‘decloaking’ like starships in sci-fi films like Star Wars and Star Trek.

In just a few hours the mysterious footage, posted on Youtube by USApatriotAK47, was viewed by alien enthusiasts the world over.

One viewer wrote: “Wow I saw this driving on the way to work on the 15 freeway in Temecula and I knew it didn’t look right.”

Another wrote: “You can see a cloaked UFO revealed by moving clouds. An awesome sighting.”

However, the theories about an alien craft were blasted by one viewer – because the holes are obviously the result a secret government weather control weapon.

They wrote: “This is not a UFO, this is the Haarp weapon. Haarp means weather control.”

Haarp, a weather research project, is frequently a target of conspiracy theorists, who claim that it can control the weather, disabling satellites and even control people’s minds.
