Super Bowl winner and Philadelphia Eagles star Cooper DeJean was taken aback when he found out a special request for him from NFL on-air host Kay Adams.
The 39-year-old has been an NFL host for several years and constantly been linked with the personal lives of the players she covers, with DeJean being no exception.
The duo saw each other over the weekend at the Kentucky Derby, with Adams saying she wanted a night on the town with the defensive back.
DeJean found out in real time while being interviewed on a red carpet in Louisville.
‘Someone said they want to hang out with you?’ a red-carpet reporter relayed to DeJean.
‘Me? Who said that? Kay Adams? I just saw her,’ DeJean retorted.
‘Yeah, she said she’s willing to party,’ the reporter, off-screen, continued. DeJean responded after a few moments with, ‘Alright, I’m down!’

DeJean won a Super Bowl in his only NFL season thus far, and has plenty of eyes on him as the Eagles look to repeat their тιтle win come next season.
The safety is reportedly dating Steph Wilfawn, with them being an item since last April.
Last year, Adams was linked with dating quarterback Daniel Jones after she conducted an in-person interview with the then-Giants quarterback.
The Kentucky Derby took place the same weekend as Formula One’s showpiece of the Miami Grand Prix.
While Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Gordon Ramsay, and Lisa chose to spend their time in Florida, DeJean, Adams, and others such as Livvy Dunne chose the big sporting event in Kentucky.
Whether or not DeJean will ever take Adams up on her offer to party may never be known, even if he handled being approached by the request well under pressure.
