Bill Belichick is plotting a desperate move to salvage his disastrous publicity crisis as the backlash from girlfriend Jordon Hudson’s excruciating CBS interview interruption continues.
Belichick, 73, and Hudson, 24, went viral for all the wrong reasons last week when the former cheerleader made a spate of awkward headlines for muscling in on her boyfriend’s interview.
The extremely uncomfortable moment, which saw her shut down a grilling over their love life, sparked a wave of fears from fans – and even Belichick’s close friends – over the dynamic of their relationship.
In the aftermath of the controversy, further reports emerged shedding light on Hudson’s alleged shocking on-set behavior and her involvement in the University of North Carolina head coach’s professional life – including the publicity surrounding his upcoming book.
Now, in the wake of the crisis, Belichick is said to be scrambling to salvage his image in an attempt to boost his book tour.
The New England Patriots legend has been in talks with former Bears V.P. of communications Brandon Faber, according to Pro Football Talk.

Belichick is reportedly looking to bring Faber on to work for North Carolina and ᴀssist on matters outside of the Tar Heels, such as his book promotion.
The discussions are said to have been taking place for the past couple of months but a deal has not yet been formalized.
The report suggests the eight-time Super Bowl winner could be stepping back from his much younger lover in his professional life as it comes after fans were left troubled by a series of claims on Hudson’s alleged involvement.
Hudson has taken over as the head of ‘Bill Belichick Productions’ and has reportedly stepped in as the coach’s de factor PR after Belichick parted ways with Berj Najarian following his New England exit.
Najarian was officially Belichick’s ‘chief of staff’ during his time in Foxborough, and had been referred to as the coach’s ‘consigliere’, ‘gatekeeper’, and ‘right hand man,’ handling all media-related issues while Belichick focused on football.
Pablo Torre claimed on his eponymous podcast that Hudson was acting as the coach’s ‘de facto agent.’
‘The person that you need to go through to book Bill Belichick for a Super Bowl commercial, or for the other commitments he has as a multi-platform personality. She’s the gateway,’ he said.
‘What I’ve been told, reliably, is that Jordon happened to then use that power to be in the commercial as well.’

Furthermore, emails obtained by The Athletic showed that Hudson has had an unofficial role in Belichick’s UNC career since his hiring with the football coach requesting his much younger lover be included in all correspondence to him from the school .
Communications from February showed the Miss Maine USA hopeful pleading with the university’s communications team to censor social media comments about the couple’s relationship and 48-year age gap.
Hudson is also said to have played an ‘instrumental role’ in torpedoing the University of North Carolina head coach’s ‘Hard Knocks’ project, according to The Athletic.
‘Hard Knocks’ – HBO ‘s iconic longstanding football docuseries – was reportedly set to follow the New England Patriots legend’s foray into college football in Chapel Hill after Belichick, 73, accepted the UNC job back in December.
Hudson reportedly demanded to be an executive producer on the North Carolina season of the series, which would be making its first foray into college football, instead of profiling NFL teams.
The beauty pageant contestant also wanted to see advanced copies of the show, and reportedly told existing executive producers to ‘treat her with respect’ or they would not get access to Belichick’s ‘IP’, per Page Six.
After being met with the shameless demands, Hard Knocks’ crew U-turned on wanting to produce the series and scrapped the project.
She also reportedly muscled her way into Dunkin’s Super Bowl commercial in February, which featured Belichick alongside Ben Affleck.

‘She forced her way in…. but Bill saw it as a way for her to get paid. People said they’ve never seen anything like it,’ the source said.
Her rise power culminated in her awkward interruption when she cut off Belichick’s conversation with CBS Sunday Morning’s Tony Dokoupil when her 73-year-old boyfriend was asked how they first met.
‘We’re not talking about this,’ she bluntly told Dokoupil while lurking off-camera at the producer’s table.
Further reports claimed she also stormed off set and delayed shooting of the interview by 30 minutes.
