Patrick Mahomes’ hulking half-brother Graham Walker given shock chance to join him at the Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes' hulking half-brother Graham Walker given shock chance to join him at the Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes’ half-brother has been given a sensational opportunity that could end with him signing for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Graham Walker, whose father is also Pat Mahomes Sr., was not selected by an NFL team during last week’s draft in Green Bay.

But he has now been given an invitation to the Chiefs’ rookie minicamp, which started on Saturday and is due to run until Monday at the team’s facility in Kansas City.

Walker spent three seasons at Brown University before transferring to Rice University and volunteering to change position from wide receiver to тιԍнт end.

Walker, who is 6-foot-3 and weighs 227 pounds, declared for the NFL draft in January after registering 24 receptions for 252 yards at Rice.

It is unclear what relationship Walker has with Mahomes, the three-time Super Bowl champion and MVP, but they have met a few times.

However, Walker recently revealed his half-brother has been keeping an eye on his progress.

‘I know Patrick has been watching the games, and he’s reached out and said good things that I’ve been doing,’ Walker told Seven Days.

‘When someone who’s accomplished so much can say you’re doing well, it really feels good.’

Walker grew up in Vermont with his mom Jessamyn Walker and stepfather Gerry Howatt.

He is now one of 87 players attending the Chiefs rookie minicamp this weekend and, if he impresses, he could join Travis Kelce in the franchise’s тιԍнт end room.

Unfortunately for Walker, Mahomes and wife Brittany are currently in Florida enjoying the Miami Grand Prix.

The couple danced the night away with Tom Brady and a group of friends as they let loose at the lavish Carbone Beach party in Magic City, where they were seen having a great time as Patrick unwinds in the NFL offseason.

He could be seen enjoying a bottle of beer at the boozy bash while speaking with the likes of Brady, American rapper and singer Jelly Roll and other guests.

Patrick, 29, and Brittany, also 29, rocked up to event casually, with the NFL superstar opting for a white overshirt and matching trousers with a baby blue top, while his wife looked as stylish as ever in an olive romper and black boots.

According to Page Six, the couple were mingling backstage with Jelly Roll, who took to the stage later in the evening to perform some of his best hits.

One notable absentee from the party was Patrick’s good friend Travis Kelce, who was in New York City earlier this week for a pH๏τoshoot.

The Chiefs star was seen near girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment for a rare shoot during a time where the power couple have deliberately tried to stay out of the spotlight after February’s Super Bowl.

It remains to be seen whether Kelce joins close pal Mahomes in Miami for the Grand Prix, which takes place on Sunday. Travis was in attendance for last year’s event, albeit without girlfriend Swift.
