Nikola Jokic’s two-year old daughter Ognjena stole the show at the Colorado Avalanche game on Tuesday. 

The Denver Nuggets star was in Ball Arena to support his NHL counterparts as they hosted the Vancouver Canucks. In the second period, Jokic was featured on the jumbotron as he enjoyed the action.

Ognjena also appeared to enjoy herself as she was seen smiling and clapping with the crowd. Another clip showed a different angle of her standing on Nikola’s lap as she participated in the cheering. 

Jokic was sporting an Avalanche hat as he received ‘MVP’ chants from the Denver crowd.

Like his daughter, the 2023 NBA Finals MVP could not contain his joy as they were warmly welcomed by the Avalanche fanbase.

Jokic led the Nuggets to their first NBA тιтle in 2023 by defeating the Miami Heat in the finals 

The Nuggets currently hold the fourth seed of the Western Conference with a 36-19 record 

The Serbian center was drafted by the Nuggets in 2015 and has been in Denver for his entire NBA career. In 2023, he led the Nuggets to their first тιтle in franchise history by defeating the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. 

Aside from his postseason success, Jokic was named the regular season MVP in 2021 and 2022. He has also made six All-Star and five All-NBA selections. 

So far this season, Jokic is averaging a near triple-double with 26.1 points, 12 rebounds and 8.9 ᴀssists per game. He is doing so by shooting an efficient 57.7 per cent from the field. 

The defending NBA champions currently hold a 36-19 record as they sit fourth in the Western Conference. 

Meanwhile, the Avalanche defeated the Canucks, 3-1, to improve their record to 35-18-4. They now sit second in the Central Division with 74 points behind the Dallas Stars.
