Where oddsmakers peg Shedeur Sanders’ NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year chances

Despite his NFL Draft slide, Vegas oddsmakers are still giving Shedeur Sanders an outside sH๏τ to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

Sanders, who is no guarantee to even see the field in a crowded Browns quarterback room, is +1900 to win the award, which is the eighth-best odds on the board at DraftKings Sportsbook just days removed from the draft.

Among quarterbacks, Sanders has the third-best odds for a rookie quarterback behind the тιтans’ No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward (+230) and Saints’ second-round pick Tyler Shough (+1400).

Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty, who was drafted No. 6 overall last week, is the favorite at +200.

Two-way star Travis Hunter, who is expected to see time at both wide receiver and cornerback after the Jaguars traded up to take him at No. 2, has the third-best odds at +750.

Sanders, who was once seen as a likely top-three pick in the 2025 draft, was selected by Cleveland in the fifth round after the franchise had already taken Oregon quarterback Dillion Gabriel in the third round.

Gabriel is listed by DraftKings as a 40/1 long sH๏τ to win OROTY.

The pair of rookies will compete with veteran and Super Bowl champion Joe Flacco and 2022 Steelers first-round pick Kenny Pickett for the starting signal-caller role in Cleveland.

Betting on the NFL?

Deshaun Watson, who tore his Achilles tendon in Week 7 last season, is not expected to be ready until mid-season at the earliest.

Pickett is currently the betting favorite (+130) to be the Week 1 starter, followed by Flacco (+160), Sanders (+300), and Gabriel (+1000).
