Over three months after he lost his brother in the ᴅᴇᴀᴅly terrorist attack in New Orleans, the family of Jack Bech is celebrating their son accomplishing his NFL dream.
Jack, a wide receiver out of TCU, was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders in the second round of the draft with the 58th overall pick.
This selection comes in the wake of the death of his brother, Tiger Bech, who was killed while celebrating the New Year in New Orleans.
Cameras captured the emotional moment when Jack was seen celebrating his selection with his family.
Long embraces were captured as an emotion-filled Jack took it all in.
Tiger was a football player as well, lacing his cleats up for Princeton as a wide receiver and a punt returner.

That pick came just months after his brother Jack was killed in the New Orleans terror attack
But on New Year’s Day, he became a victim of a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street that took the lives of 14 people, including Tiger.
Tiger was a Louisiana native and graduated from Princeton in 2021. He was most recently he was working as an investment trader at a New York brokerage firm Seaport Global.
In his final moments, it was revealed that Tiger saw the oncoming truck being driven by Shamsud-Din Jabbar – who committed the act in the name of the Islamic State – and pushed a woman out of the way to save her life.
Jack received the news of Tiger’s heroism after surveillance footage obtained by the FBI showed his actions.
Jack shared a screensH๏τ of the footage on X and captioned the image: ‘My brother is a true hero. Can’t express the love I have for him. He’s an Angel.’
The post has received two million views and counting on X, with comedian Theo Von among those to respond with well-wishes.

The FBI recovered a black IS flag from Jabbar’s rented pickup and reviewed five videos posted to Facebook, including one in which he said he originally planned to harm his family and friends but was concerned news headlines would not focus on the ‘war between the believers and the disbelievers,’ Christopher Raia, the deputy ᴀssistant director of the FBI’s counterterrorism division, said.
Jabbar also stated he joined IS before last summer and provided a last will and testament, the FBI said.
Jabbar joined the Army in 2007, serving on active duty in human resources and information technology and deploying to Afghanistan from 2009 to 2010, the service said.
He transferred to the Army Reserve in 2015 and left in 2020 with the rank of staff sergeant.
