ESPN shuts down Chris Russo’s rant on Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson just as it was getting good

ESPN would prefer Chris “Mad Dog” Russo save his Bill Belichick relationship H๏τ takes for SiriusXM.

While on “First Take” on Wednesday, Russo prepared a rant about Belchick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, wearing in February a 28-3 jersey signifying the Patriots’ improbable Super Bowl comeback against the Falcons in 2017.

“Belichick’s girlfriend with the 28-3 jersey, which drove me crazy,” Russo began telling host Molly Qerim, who was alongside Snoop Dogg and Stephen A. Smith.

Hudson was not actually wearing a 28-3 jersey.

Instead, she was rocking an Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl champion t-shirt from that year, which, of course, never saw the light of day, considering the horrifying result of the game for Atlanta.

Qerim asked Russo to continue the rant about Belichick’s girlfriend, to which Russo replied, “You want to hear this? This will get me in trouble, but I’ll say it.”

With Russo seemingly prepared to unload on the situation, he got the stop sign from Qerim, who presumably had the producers giving her directions in her earpiece.

“Oh, they said no. They said no,” Qerim said to Russo.

“Oh, don’t do it? See, this is what I mean. I get edited here, too. I get edited. See, she got me in trouble,” Russo replied.

Smith, who has long boasted about being the executive producer of “First Take,” stood by idly, appearing to bite his lip as Qerim and Russo continued laughing about the topic.

The show immediately went into a commercial break following the awkward moment.

Belichick, 73, is currently dating 24-year-old Hudson, a former college cheerleader who appears to be quite involved in her boyfriend’s new role as head football coach at the University of North Carolina.

Belichick had requested that his girlfriend be copied on all emails that are sent to him.
