Ciara has called out husband Russell Wilson over his persistent requests to have a fifth baby – joking that he ‘needs to stop’ campaigning on social media.

Veteran NFL quarterback Wilson, who recently signed for the New York Giants, frequently leaves comments on his wife’s Instagram posts about having baby ‘Cinco’ together.

He has already welcomed three children with the R&B singer – daughters Sienna, seven, and Amora, one, and son Win, four – while also acting as a stepfather to her other son Future Jr, 10.

However, that hasn’t stopped him from leaving raunchy messages about baby No. 5 on Ciara’s social-media pages. 

‘Let me tell you, someone needs to take my husband’s phone right now, okay. Because he needs to stop,’ she said in an interview with Access Hollywood. 

‘Listen, Amora [youngest daughter] came out and he starts talking about “Cinco?” I’m like, “That’s just disrespectful! Do you know what I just went through right now with this?”‘

She then added: ‘No, but he is so funny. He’s got a great campaign going, I’m not gonna lie. 

‘The people are following Rus, they’re all team Rus. Like wait… y’all not gonna havea little love and sympathy for my ovaries over here [and] for my uterus?’

Russ, 36, and Ciara, 39, started dating back in 2015 before marrying a year later. The singer had already welcomed a son with ex-boyfriend and rapper Future when they met.

The couple had their first child together when Sienna was born in 2017, before Win followed three years later.

Ciara gave birth to their latest baby, Amora, in December 2023.

Amid his desire for a fifth, Wilson could not contain himself after his wife posted a video of herself in a stunning Carnival outfit on Instagram last month.

After she posted a video dancing at Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival celebration in a vibrant, blue-feathered outfit, the football star joked: ‘This is my mating call I see… Keep sippin’ on that @tentoonerum… Cinco goin’ to be on di way!’

Ciara flirted right back, replying, ‘Someone come take my husband’s phone please,’ with laughing emojis.

Wilson was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers this year before joining the New York Giants

Russ is currently gearing up for a fresh start in the NFL after signing with the Giants this offseason.

The Super Bowl-winning quarterback was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers at the end of the 2024 campaign, despite enjoying a satisfying year under head coach Mike Tomlin. 

In 12 appearances, he racked up 2,752 pᴀssing yards and 18 touchdowns, while completing 64 percent of his pᴀsses.

However, after being released in Pittsburgh, Wilson eventually signed a deal with the Giants that has $10.5m guaranteed and could rise up to $21m.
