Suni Lee is back at Madison Square Garden to watch the Knicks on Monday night – after a New York star cheekily called for her to attend every game they play.
The USA Olympics hero, 22, made quite the impression when she sat courtside earlier this month, with a hilarious video online claiming she and actress Anne Hathaway being in the crowd caused Knicks small forward OG Anunoby to dramatically raise his game.
After seeing the viral clip, Anunoby’s teammate Josh Hart joked that they ‘need’ Suni and Anne at every playoff fixture if it inspires similar performances from him.
And following the mischievous invite, Lee took Hart up on the offer by returning to MSG for Game 2 of the Knicks’ first-round playoff series against the Detroit Pistons.
Before kicking off their postseason campaign, Hart joined teammate Jalen Brunson on the ‘Roommmates Show’ last week to preview the playoffs.
The pair were discussing the impressive recent form of teammate Anunoby when they broke out into laughter and suggested he had been playing better to impress their high-profile guests courtside.

‘We need Suni (Lee) or Anne Hathaway at every game during this playoff run,’ Hart joked.
Anunoby scored 32 points as the Knicks beat the Phoenix Suns 112-98 on April 6.
It prompted the viral video where fans suggested the 27-year-old brought his A-game to the table when he saw Lee and Hathaway were courtside.
Suni was not the only famous face at MSG for Monday night’s Knicks-Piston game, nevertheless.
Hollywood stars Timothee Chalamet and Paul Rudd were also spotted in the crowd at MSG, along with rap icons 50 Cent and Fat Joe.
Celebrity super-fan Ben Stiller, who attends almost every Knicks game in New York these days, was also in attendance.
