Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is feeling confident ahead of his one-on-one 3-point contest against New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu.

Curry and Ionescu are finally set to face-off on Saturday night, during All-Star weekend in Indianapolis.

‘There’s only one outcome,’ Curry said during an interview on NBA TV. ‘It’s that I win.’

‘She’s unbelievable,’ Curry said. ‘Unbelievable shooter, unbelievable player. It should be great for the game to have a little compeтιтion.’

Ionescu has also had nothing but positive things to say about Curry during the lead up to the event.

‘It’s a blessing to even be in the same conversation as Steph and to be able to see how much he has respected me as a player and a basketball player and a person to want to come out here and do this,’ Ionescu said.

‘He wants to beat me. I can tell you that, he’s not taking it easy. He was out there booing me as I was practicing yesterday and trying to get in my head.’

Ionescu originally challenged Curry last year, after she won the WNBA 3-point compeтιтion.

So far this season Curry has been averaging 28 points, 4.4 rebounds, and five ᴀssists for the Warriors, whose record currently sits at 27-26.

Last season in the WNBA, Ionescu averaged 17 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.4 ᴀssists for the Liberty.
