Drew Lock’s wife celebrates QB ‘coming home’ to Seahawks after brief Giants stint

There’s no place like Seattle for newly re-signed Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock and his wife, Natalie.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Natalie celebrated the couple’s return to the Pacific Northwest after Lock’s one-year stint with the Giants.

“What a dream! You amaze me everyday [sic] – I’m so proud of you!!!! @drewlock,” Natalie gushed. “We’re coming home!!!!!”

A second-round pick by the Broncos in 2019, Lock began his career in Denver before he was traded to Seattle as part of a package for Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

Lock served as the backup to starter Geno Smith and didn’t see action until his second season with the team, when he relieved the injured quarterback at different points during the year.

In four games under center, Lock completed 63.2 percent of his pᴀsses while throwing three touchdowns against three interceptions.

Lock, 28, decided to head east during free agency, signing a one-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $5 million with the Giants, but his time with Big Blue was far from memorable.

Originally slated to back up Daniel Jones, Lock was pᴀssed over for third-stringer Tommy DeVito later in the year when the Giants released Jones after a putrid 2-8 start.

When DeVito went down with an injury, Lock was thrust into the action, throwing for 1,071 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions in eight games, five of which he started.

His most memorable outing was a Week 17 victory over the Colts when he threw four touchdowns, zero interceptions and knocked the Giants out of position for the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

They’re now picking at No. 3 when the first round begins next Thursday.

Much has changed for the Locks since their last run in Seattle as the team traded Smith to the Raiders last month.

They signed Sam Darnold to a three-year, $100.5 million contract after he revived his career with the Vikings last season.

“There’s a lot of special memories I have here,” Lock said Tuesday after signing. “One being the kid, bringing our first child into the world here, that will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Lock married Natalie at The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Fla., in April 2023. They welcomed their first child, son Layton, in January 2024.

The terms of Lock’s new deals were not immediately known.
