BREAKING NEWSNFL Draft prospect Isaiah Bond fires back at accuser after turning himself in to police over Sєxual ᴀssault claims

Former Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond has hit back at his accuser after facing accusations of Sєxual ᴀssault.

Last week, Bond, 21, turned himself into police in Frisco, Texas over a matter related to an outstanding warrant for Sєxual ᴀssault. Bond, who has declared for next week’s NFL Draft, posted bond and was released.

But the wideout has now issued a blistering retort, filing a federal complaint against his accuser.

His agent, Damien Butler, sent an email to all 32 teams in the NFL, which branded the allegations false and defamatory, according to Ian Rapoport.

‘Earlier this evening, Isaiah’s attorneys at Nesenhoff & Miltenberg, LLP filed the attached complaint in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas in response to the false allegation of Sєxual ᴀssault and defamatory statements made against him,’ Butler wrote, attaching the first page of Bond’s complaint.

‘Unlike the false narrative that has been amplified, the truth, once revealed in its entirety, will show that he was targeted by a woman eight years his senior, relentlessly pursued, enticed by explicit pH๏τos & videos and ultimately setup for financial gain.

‘Isaiah, like most twenty-one-year-olds, must show a higher level of discernment in social media interactions and access, however, he is completely innocent of the allegations levied against him and will fight to clear his name. For Clubs that still feel his elite talent can help them win games for the next decade, he is eager to get back on the gridiron where he feels most at home.’

Bond played his first two seasons at Alabama before transferring to the Longhorns last offseason and is expected to be a potential second-round pick in Green Bay later this month. However, following last week’s warrant, there was fear his draft stock could tank.

Yet, the NFL has continuously maintained his innocence, calling for a chance to defend himself against the ‘patently false’ allegations.

‘Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false,’ read a statement shared following his release.

‘I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation. Unfortunately, claims like these prove to be harmful to all involved, absent full review. I kindly request that all reserve judgement until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence.’

Bond has top-30 visits with the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Tennessee тιтans, according to Pro Football Talk. He also is scheduled to attend the Falcons’ local prospect day.

Bond ran a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine and posted times of 4.34 and 4.35 at Texas’ Pro Day.

He was limited by an ankle injury last season having just one catch for 22 yards in the SEC Championship. He then sat out the first round of the College Football Playoffs against Clemson before returned for the Peach Bowl against Arizona State.

In Texas’s Cotton Bowl loss to Ohio State, Bond managed just one catch for eight yards.

The Georgia native finished the season with 34 catches for 540 yards and five touchdowns along with four carries for 98 yards and a touchdown.
