Abdul Carter posts Lawrence Taylor pH๏τo at pivotal Giants visit

Abdul Carter seemed excited about his meeting with the Giants.

The high-profile Penn State edge rusher, who is among the top prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft, went to X and posted a pH๏τo of Big Blue legend Lawrence Taylor during a Top-30 visit with the Giants on Friday.

The picture included a quote from the late team owner Wellington Mara that read: “Once a Giant, always a Giant.”

The former Nittany Lion standout seemingly saluted Taylor, widely regarded as one of the greatest linebackers of all time and a name that holds a special place in Giants lore.

The 21-year-old Carter fueled speculation that the team — which picks third in the draft — could be eyeing him as part of their defensive strategy moving forward.

Last season, the Giants — who finished 3-14 — ranked 21st in the NFL by allowing 24.4 points per game and were 24th in pᴀssing yards allowed per game (346.8).

Carter, known for his aggressive play and versatility on the field, has been one of the most talked-about prospects ahead of the draft.

The Philadelphia native led college football with 23.5 tackles for loss and recorded 12 sacks and two forced fumbles last season and was a unanimous All-American for the Nittany Lions, who fell one game short of making the College Football Playoff national тιтle game.
