As the Giants move closer to finalizing their NFL Draft plan of attack, a look up and down their depth chart indicates they succeeded this offseason in one area above all else.
They eliminated the desperation that comes with lugging glaring needs and blatant personnel holes into the draft.
Is this roster a finished product? Far from it. A team does not go from the sickness of winning three games one year to looking as if all is cured the next year.
There are plenty of looming questions at a variety of spots, but the additions made in free agency allow the Giants to go into the draft with more of a pure approach — take the best players — rather than reach for a certain player to address a specific weakness.
