Discovery would be proof that time travelers would be among us! But is the fossilized book real?
The image began to spread in mid-2023, but became successful again through shares in WhatsApp and Telegram groups in the second half of June 2024. In it we can see what appears to be an archaeological dig with a curious find: a large fossilized book!
According to the publications, the find would have occurred on the beach of Cape Broome, in Western Australia, being irrefutable proof that time travelers really exist, as the bible must be more than 350 million years old.
Is this true or a lie?

Text from one of the versions shared on Twitter: “This is a pH๏τo of what some researchers claim to be a 350-million-year-old petrified book. Cape Broom Beach, Western Australia” (pH๏τo: Reproduction/Twitter)
Truth or lie?
The pH๏τo is real, but it is not a petrified book! In fact, this is just a stone that looks like a book.
This same image had been circulating since October 2023, with texts in several languages and with several versions. In the vast majority of them, a certain Dr. Thomas Kaminski is cited as the scientist who would have led the excavations. Also mentioned is the name Jane Balme, who is said to be a professor of archaeology at the University of Western Australia. However, we did not find news about these two people (apart from the websites and blogs that copied the same text).
There is no Dr. Thomas Kaminski! As for Professor Jane Balme, she exists, but she has not published anything about it.
In an interview with an Australian news agency, Balme said that she only heard about the so-called “fossilized book” when a friend sent her an email asking if she knew that they were using her name to spread news of false archaeological discoveries and that the pH๏τo clearly shows that it is a piece of stone!
Everything indicates that the disinformation arose from a publication made on the Insтιтute of History and Alternative Archaeology page, on Facebook, in October 2023. The fanpage is full of unfounded theories and adulterated images, without any scientific proof.
