Jason Kelce furiously hits back at rival NFL owner Terry Pegula over false 'dangerous' claims

NFL legend Jason Kelce has hit back at Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula, who appeared to have misinterpreted the former center’s previous comments on the controversial ‘Tush Push’.

Banning the Philadelphia Eagles’ signature play was part of the league owners’ meetings this weekend in Florida, but were tabled to May after discussion.

Pegula is in favor of a ban and supported its outlaw from the NFL. Packers team president Mark Murphy used Kelce’s comments from the ‘Steam Room’ podcast as his reasoning for bringing up the Tush Push being removed from the league.

It appears Kelce misconstrued who spoke to reporters about the play, as opposed to solely voting to ban it.

‘I believe Jason Kelce had made public comments about, he’s glad he’s not involved in the play anymore because he felt it was pretty dangerous,’ Murphy told reporters this week.

Kelce did say the play ‘sucks for a center’ and is ‘grueling’, with the future Hall of Famer taking exception with how his words are being framed.

‘I think the good gentleman from Buffalo appears to have misunderstood my meaning of the word grueling, I have never called the play dangerous,’ Kelce said on X on Friday. ‘If the NFL wishes to summon me for legitimate thoughts on the tush push under oath, I’d be glad to give my testimony.’

Kelce does appear agitated with the word ‘dangerous’ being attributed to him, with Murphy doing so despite going after Pegula.

The former Eagle may be upset with both men and has not clarified if his stern behavior is actually directed at Murphy.

Others from the NFL world have spoken up on both sides of the ‘Brotherly Shove’ debate.

‘Man, if we take everything that “sucks” and is “grueling” out of sports, there ain’t gonna be much left…,’ JJ Watt replied to Kelce.

‘This is so f***ing spot on haha. Gotta embrace the grind!,’ Kelce retorted.

The Packers were the team to initiate a vote on the ‘Tush Push’ being banned after losing to the Eagles twice this past season.
