Giants seven-round NFL mock draft 1.0: Big Blue takes best player available — and a QB

To quarterback, or not to quarterback, that is the question for the Giants. 

They own the No. 3 pick in the draft and they are ᴀssured of getting an absolute stud on defense if they choose to go in that direction. The plan is to try to find something resembling a potential franchise quarterback in this draft and circumstances may dictate that search takes root after the first day. 

This is the first of four mock drafts we will serve up prior to the April 24 start of the draft. This Mock 1.0, using the Pro Football Network simulator, is based on what we think and what we hear and what we guess and what we expect. Figure there will be some alterations as we complete this process.
