Polarizing Fox Sports host Nick Wright claims his friendship with Travis Kelce has deteriorated ever since he started dating Taylor Swift.

Kelce and Swift are still going strong as one of the most famous couples on the planet almost two years since their whirlwind romance began.

After Taylor confirmed the relationship by showing up to a Kansas City Chiefs game for the first time in September 2023, Travis’ level of fame has skyrocketed to astonishing heights, largely due to the songstress’s die-hard legion of fans.

And amid his newfound status as an international superstar, the NFL great has become distant with Wright in recent years.

The controversial sports personality, who previously enjoyed a close relationship with Kelce, revealed on his ‘What’s Wright? With Nick Wright’ podcast that they have barely spoken since he entered a serious relationship with Swift.

However, that didn’t stop Travis and his brother Jason from naming Nick as a potential future guest on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast.

Wright, whose controversial takes on FS1’s ‘First Things First’ often divide opinion, was shown a clip of the Chiefs тιԍнт end saying he ‘f***ing loves’ him on New Heights, before he opened up on the breakdown of their friendship.

‘My guy, Trav. What a delight,’ he gushed. ‘So here’s the thing, Trav and I have not “talked talked” since he’s been serious with Taylor Swift, since he’s become a super-duper celebrity.

‘Here’s the thing, I don’t want to bother him during the year. And then last offseason, he was traveling the world with Taylor.

‘And then at the parade last year, we were going to get together after the parade or during, but there was obviously the tragedy and the shooting at the parade. So everything went askew.

‘I haven’t talked to Trav in a while.’

Travis and Jason were discussing who they could bring on to a future New Heights episode to explain the NFL salary cap when Wright’s name was floated.

‘Appreciate the shoutout on one of the world’s most popular podcasts,’ he continued. ‘And also, to the New Heights producers, I’ll do it. And I’ll waive my appearance fee just to help them out.

‘If they want someone to come on and really just break down the cap, nothing would thrill me more.’
