The NBA has revealed Monday night’s game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Charlotte Hornets featured 10 incorrect calls during the final two minutes.

The game was not decided until the final moments after the Hornets pulled off an 18-point comeback to secure a 128-125 win, despite Timberwolves forward Karl-Anthony Towns scoring a magnificent 62-points.

But, according the NBA’s L2M Report, officials made a number of incorrect calls in the closing stages of the game that could have changed the result.

Three of the missed calls favored the Timberwolves, while six were in favor of the victorious Hornets.

Another missed call involved a foul being given to the wrong player on the Hornets after it was ᴀssessed to Brandon Miller instead of P.J. Washington.

One of the more important pieces of information revealed was that Towns should have been sent to the free throw line with less than five seconds left.

That would have given him the chance to give Minnesota the lead, but the call was missed by the officiating crew.

On the play Towns had drove to the basket and attempted a layup with 4.5 seconds on the clock and Minnesota down by only one point, when he was hit on the arm by Hornets forward Leaky Black.

Despite the loss, Minnesota still sits at the top of the NBA Western Conference with a 30-13 record.

Charlotte on the other hand sit near the bottom of the standings in the Eastern Conference and sit at 10-31.

The Hornets also made headlines when on Tuesday morning when they dealt guard Terry Rozier to the Miami Heat.

Rozier was traded in exchange for veteran Kyle Lowry and a 2027 first-round pick.
