Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry and New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu are set to have a 3-point shootout during All-Star weekend.

Curry appeared to challenge Ionescu while mic’d up in a conversation with teammate Brandin Podziemski during pregame warmups before the Warriors game against the Sacramento Kings.

‘Do you know who holds the record for most points in a 3-point compeтιтion,’ Curry asked, before Podziemski correctly said Sabrina [Ionescu].

‘I think I got to bring her out here, like we got to settle this once and for all.’

After the NBA posted a video of their conversation on X, Ionesci accepted by reposting the video and saying ‘Let’s getttttt it!! See ya at the 3 pt line @StephenCurry30.’

This is not the first time the two superstars have discussed facing each other.

Ionescu had originally challenged Curry six months ago after she won the WNBA 3-point compeтιтion.

The 35-year-old Curry had previously accepted the challenge and it appears the battle will finally be taking place when NBA All-Star Weekend takes over Indianapolis.

Heading into Thursday’s game Curry had been leading the NBA in 3-pointers after hitting 172 of them through 38 games.

So far this season Curry has been averaging 26.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and five ᴀssists for the Warriors, who entered the night with a 19-22 record.

Last season Ionescu averaged 17 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.4 ᴀssists for the Liberty.
