New York Jets wide receiver Malachi Corley believes he captured a UFO on film months after his rookie campaign ended.
After wrapping up his first year in the league, the rising second-year wideout went viral for an apparent UFO sighting outside his home in Florida.
On Tuesday, the 23-year-old posted four clips of the night sky on his X. In the clip, he shows blue light glowing behind grey clouds.
‘Normal sky, normal sky,’ he says while panning the camera around the surrounding area.
‘Oh what is that,’ Corley asked while zooming into the blue light. He also insisted on extraterrestrial activity with his caption.
‘Say whatever you want. This object(ufo), was legitimately up in the sky for over 30 minutes,’ Corley wrote. ‘I watched it. I stopped watching for about 2 minutes and looked up it was gone. No trace.’

Unfortunately for Corley, he may not have shared groundbreaking footage with his findings. In one of the comments, a user suggested that what he saw was the light that shines from the Hard Rock H๏τel and Casino, beaming through the clouds.
‘LOL thats the hard rock guitar,’ the user wrote, referring to the iconic building in Fort Lauderdale.
The Jets selected Corley out of Western Kentucky with the 65th overall pick in the third round of last year’s NFL Draft.
While he tallied three catches for 16 yards as a rookie, Corley’s first season will mostly be remembered for a blunder against the Houston Texans in Week 9.
While running toward the end zone, Corley celebrated prematurely and dropped the ball before crossing the goal line. As a result, the touchdown was ruled out and possession was given back to Houston.
Corley will head into his second NFL season with new quarterback, Justin Fields after the team parted ways with Aaron Rodgers following two lackluster campaigns. The Jets finished this past season with an abysmal 5-12 record.
