NFL draft hopeful appears to suffer devastating injury while working out in front of coaches

With less than a month remaining until the NFL Draft, one player projected to be selected within the first three rounds appeared to suffer a serious injury.

At his Ohio State pro day, defensive tackle Tyleik Williams appeared to go down with a leg injury while he was running the 40-yard-dash.

Video captured by Ohio State writer Tony Gerdeman showed the defensive tackle prospect falling to the ground after appearing to slow up.

He grabbed for his left leg while on the ground as training staff came over to help him up. Williams was seen with his arms around the staff as they helped him walk.

According to Gerdeman, Williams was able to walk on his own power to the locker room.

Later, it was revealed that he came back out to watch the rest of the Pro Day and that he ‘gave a double thumbs up towards his family.’
